So here's the deal. Every cop thinks they have a story. Actually this is true. But there are 2 obstacles to writing about those stories. The first is, disciplining yourself to actually WRITE it. The 2nd is, and I know this is a shock to my cop brethren's collective egos, not all can put it to paper as a book as opposed to an offense report and make a successful novel.Retired NYPD Sergeant Bryan Ryan has managed to overcome both obstacles with an excellent tome! I highly recommend it for any person who loves a good mystery. The ending actually got me by surprise, but let's just say pleasantly so as an ex-copper myself. I also loved the NYPD-isms, being a southern cop, and loved the similarities between us all (the universal "I only had 2 beers Officer").
Do yourself a favor this cold winter, get a copy, get a nice cup of hot chocolate and enjoy this great novel!

Night Watchers is a book once you start reading it you can't put it down. If you like Police stories,especially NYPD, this is the book to read. I highly recommend it!!
