I just read through this book... there's a problem with it...there are WAY too many ROI friendly ideas to take action on. This is crammed full of really valuable advice. My favorite pieces are about Live chat ideas, making your site customer centric (but he actually explains what this means and how to do it) and the pieces about how to adjust your website and messages seasonally.
Nicely done. I am recommending this book to one of my customers who is just getting into design and user experience. Easy Read but very useful info. Nicely done!
I have read this book twice, and will be reading it a third time. It is really that educational. It clearly outlines the steps to take to create an optimized website. The tips and tricks throughout make total sense, and I love the emphasis on test repeat test repeat.

Full disclosure Alex has worked with many of our clients over the past decade+ designing more conversion friendly websites. I love what he has done in this book. While he offers hundreds of action packed tips, if all you do is implement one you will have paid off the book and any time invested reading this book. Plus you'll have a ton of other ideas to follow that one.
I highly recommend this book, this book is just what I needed to learn effective strategies for my online store and blog. As a new small business owner I need to be sensible about where I spend my money and highly effective with my time. I don't have the budget to hire a professional like Alex to build/run my E-Commerce store, BUT I can buy his book with all of his advice! Right out of the gate, the book gives general advice about driving traffic to your website. Alex helped me understand who my target customer is and how I should market to them and why. Then he breaks down the specific areas of an e-commerce website and how to maximize their effectiveness. Lastly, he gives specifics suggestions on how to make more money on your website. I really like his advice because it's not a bunch of off suggestions, he's giving you details, a strategy to help you build your on-line store and make a business out of it.
This is a super book when you're looking for a rundown of actionable steps to take to get a lift in your conversions. I've read just about everything I can get my hands on when it comes to CRO. What I like about this book is that it focuses specifically on e-commerce. There are so many moving parts that go into developing a comprehensive optimization strategy (especially with an e-commerce site.) I love how this book breaks it all down - piece by piece. Alex definitely knows his stuff. I'm a fan!
